2 Bedroom House in Almiros Beach, Thinali
My parents built it by themselves with a little help from their friends and family back in. You are gonna love it!

If you are also searching for a cottage house 50sqm with 2000sqm garden full of olive trees, pines, palm trees, a plenty of flowers, a small Bio garden with tomatoes, cucumbers & peppers, 2 hammocks to relax on and a picnic table in the yard, then the Handmade house is perfect for you!
It has a room with double bed, a room with 2 single beds, a main room with a couch that can be a bed as well, a beautiful renovated kitchen full equipped and a renovated bathroom! We also provide drinkable and tasty tap water (islands usually have drinkable but not tasty water) due to the "olympus" water filter that we update every year. We also provide you with very good thermos water bottles for the beach and your trips around the island. You have no need to buy plastic water bottles in the Handmade House.
All the windows have double glasses that keeps the house cool and screens to keep insects out. A/c is available in June, July, August and September. Fans are available all year round as well as heating panels.
In the frontage there is a terrace with a comfortable dinning table for 4 where you can drink your coffee and relax during the day.
For families with little kids we provide a 2 level wooden cot by Ikea and a feeding chair.
There is also Wifi internet connection all over the house!
In the other side of the street there is a super market. On your way to the beach you can find restaurants, bars, swimming pools, cafe's etc
Acharavi's beach is really clear and the sand is great!
In Acharavi center (2 kilometers away) you can find everything about shopping, entertainment, car and motorcycle rentals, medical center, pharmacies, banks etc
Exactly in front of the house there is a bus stop. The bus connects Acharavi with Corfu city. Ask me about the exact timetable after your booking! There is also a tourist bus that picks you up from the bus stop in front of the house and drives you to Sidari and Kassiopi beach!
Access to everything that belongs to the house! We provide towels and bed sheets for all of you as well as beach towels! You don't have to bring your own. You have access to A/c only for cooling reasons during June, July, August and September when is necessary. You can use the fans all year round and for heating reasons you can use the heating panels.
Unfortunately I live far away from the house... in Athens. That means that I manage the whole thing via e-mail and calls and with the precious help of my neighbors Klodi (great handyman and driver), Spiros (gardener), Aghathi (who takes general care of the house) and Tony (the super market owner). We will be in contact for everything you are going to need. All these people live close enough to the house and they are ready to help you!
I totally recommend "veggera" bar for a drink next to the beach and "Lemon garden" as a Bbq place. The "pumphouse" is also recommended by mane of our guests!
There is a bus stop on the main street exactly in front of the house! The timetable is written on a panel at the bus stop. With this bus you can go to the center of Acharavi, to Roda and to the main center of Corfu city!

We are going to ask you for your name, surname, City/country/address/ postal code, passport number and passport issuing country before or during your stay (just from one of you). Its a legal issue between us as owners and the Greek tax system so as to pay our taxes properly. Thank you for understanding.

Handmade house is a small and cute little cottage house in the north part of Corfu island close to a village called Acharavi. Its located exactly 1 kilometer away from the beach which means 12' walk (a nice one) or 4' drive.
No smoking allowed inside the house
No pets allowed
No parties or events allowed
-Please wash your feet after the beach outside the house at the faucet. Dont bring the sand in the shower, it causes damage to the shower tubes very easily!
- Please read the "welcome notebook" with the safety infos and the house rules!
