The apartment is on the flat of the building and has a big patiosame building-ground floor, . it's really bright, The apartment has one double bed, (brand new mattress) and one single sofa bed.
The neighbourhood is really friendly with family kind environment. Ten minutes walk from the main tourist area of western Heraklion with taverns, bars, 24hour grocery store (mini market) and athletic centres (tennis/football/pool). There is also luxury resort close by where you can go for spa and thalasso-therapy or water sports. Very good traditional taverns with traditional Cretan food. You can ask me for further information.
Also 5km away from the city centre. Public transportation every 10' to the city centre-airport.

Ammoudara is a very cute area with lots of beach bars offering good food and refreshments to enjoy a day on the beach. It's very close to Heraklion city center and it's in the middle of the island so you can easily explore both west and east Crete! Book your tickets and come along!! Crete is a place to be!
Take bus No.6 to Ammoudara and ask the bus driver to tell you where the Agapi Beach bus stop is.
It will take around 35-40' minutes, depending on traffic. This way you will have a drive though the city center!!
When you arrive at the bus stop just give a call to Maria and she will come and pick you up from the bus stop!
