Villa Alexandros is a fully restored (2022) beautiful stone build construction, that is dated back to 1885. It is located in the picturesque village of Skouloufia, just 18km from Rethymno town. The whole villa is 270sqm and can host up to 12 persons. In front of the villa there is a paved patio area with a private 30sqm swimming pool that also includes a children's' pool , with sunbeds and umbrellas. There are 6 bedrooms, 6 ensuite full bathrooms and a simple wc.
On the ground floor there is a living area with a fireplace and a TV set. Three steps lead, through a stone beautiful arch, to a fully equipped open-plan kitchen area. There is a large dining table, a large fridge/freezer, a dishwasher and a microwave oven , espresso coffee machine and all modern appliances. Next to the kitchen, there is a WC and a utility room with the washing machine. Further more on the ground floor there are three bedrooms (2 of them with a double bed each and one with 2 single beds) all with en suite bathrooms .From the kitchen there is access to the veranda, equipped with patio furniture , a large stone built sofa and a built in BBQ with a traditional oven.
On the uppler floor there are 3 more bedrooms (2 of them with a double bed each and one with 2 single beds) all with en suite bathrooms. All bedrooms are individually air-conditioned and offer smart tv's.. All areas of the villa are covered with Wifi fast internet access.
Skouloufia village has 2 traditional tavernas, a traditional kafenion and a mini market. The nearest supermarket, as well as the sandy beach of Stavromenos, is about 8 km away. The archaeological site of the ancient village of Eleftherna (4 km) where one of the most internationally important excavations and archaeological museum is a must visit. Also the famous monastery of Arkadi (8 km) with it's renovated buildings and museum is a recommended visit. A car is essential, and there is free parking at the villa.
