Unwind in this peaceful house on an island full of character & culture. The surrounding 20 acres of land, an animal farm & your own private beach offer lots of opportunities to relax & have fun with your family.
Kick off your day with fresh eggs from the coop and the breathtaking view of the Aegean sea. While on a beach walk you'll be greeted by the flamingos & other Natura reserve wildlife.
Enjoy fresh fish(the sardine is renowned), local delicacies & ouzo in the nearby taverns.
The space
The property is 65 sq. meters, fully air conditioned and comprises an open plan kitchen/diner/living room, a bedroom and a bathroom.
The property is also ideal for working remotely all year around; a desk can be provided on request and during the winter it is heated via an energy fireplace which means you get both heating and hot water all day long (fire logs provided at extra cost).
The many hectares of land include a farm animal enclosure. Chickens, ducks, hens, peacocks and rabbits are some of the residents alongside 4 friendly dogs and a cat.
The outside veranda is the perfect place to start your day. Prepare your breakfast with fresh eggs provided by the farm and enjoy it alongside your coffee while feeling the morning breeze of the Aegean sea on your doorstep.
You can also pick your own veg and fruits from the organic patch right next to the house!
The BBQ area is fully equipped with a charcoal bbq, wood fire oven and large dining table. Visit the nearby picturesque little harbour where you can meet the local fishermen and buy fish from their day's catch, come back and lit the BBQ up! Even better catch the fish by yourself (fishing equipment provided)!
The beach in front of the property (accessible wearing crocs), unspoiled by human, will be the place for you to swim in the crystal clear waters of the Kalloni gulf (home to the renowned sardine which is a must try), sunbathe (beach equipment provided) on its pebbled beach and in the night enjoy your drink under the starry sky with the sound of the waves crushing on your feet.
The location of the property is fantastic for bird watchers. Plenty of species (hawks, flamingos, herons etc) can be observed and photographed in the nearby wetlands (walking distance).
Within a 5 min drive you have a mini market and plenty of top quality fish tavernas.
Plenty of parking space is available.
The nearby village of Polichnitos with its unique, traditional stone architecture influenced by Asia Minor, has everything you will need. Kafeneia (local cafes), grocery shops with local produce, pharmacies and a health clinic for emergencies.

- Eresos (78 km) the birthplace of Sapfo
- The unique Petrified forest of Sigri (80 km), a UNESCO Geo park

Guests have free access to the property and all the land.
The land includes two other houses which are occupied by us and we will be able to help you with anything you need.
Other things to note
Lesvos is the 3rd biggest island in Greece, and has a lot to offer. As such, it's best to rent a car to move around.
The sofa bed is double, sleeps two.
A desk is available on request, for remote working.
A cot is available on request.
Fire logs are charged extra, and you will need to request in advance.
