Katafygio Studios enjoy a private location on a quiet village lane and yet offer breathtaking views and only a 2 min walk to the village, tavernas and beach.
*NEW ADDITION* There is a new family bakery opened in the village full of all the usual delights - and this is just 60 seconds from your front door!
Assos is the perfect place to relax and unwind but we would highly recommend renting a car if you plan to do a little exploring.

"When "PERFECT" sounds too poor, to describe our stay at Katafygio
During the tourist-busy time of August, my partner and I, chose to stay at Katafygio in Assos. We booked studio 1 (the one with the bigger terrace), and we couldn't have chosen a more PERFECT location. Situated in the picturesque hills of Assos, overlooking at the Assos bay and the castle, just a 1 min. walk from the seaside , Katafygio is THE IDEAL place to stay . The majority of the other properties in Assos, are situated really close to the main square and seaside, which is filled with tavernas and a cafe, that produce a lot of noise especially during peak hours noon and night. Katafygio on the other side, is situated in the Magical distance from the sea side. Not too far, and not too close. Just one minute away!! This makes the terrace with the mountain and sea view an absolute treat to stay, light the terrace candles and enjoy a calm, starlight, summer night! Perfection indeed. The studio itself is AMAZING. Every modern amenity, wifi, aircondition, full kitchen, fridge, an amazing bathroom. Did i mention the bed? super comfy bed and mattress and pillows of the ideal thickness that your neck will thank you next morning :) Every little detail that a guest might need, is already taken care by Dot and Steve ,that includes mini led flashlight, if you like night strolling, umbrellas, even a Beach bag to carry your stuff to the seaside!!!! The studio breathes an air of "Greece". The island house vibes are everywhere and the subtle details show the love and care that Steve and Dot share in order to make the guests' stay memorable! Assos, in my opinion is the best place to stay in Kefalonia and it is so close to the more elegant villages of the north, 10' mins drive from the world famous beach of Myrtos, Also, it is an amazing destination for Easter Holidays (mid to end of April).
