Hi everyone!
You will find our home in Fournes, a beautiful Cretan valley-village, surrounded by orange, lemon and olive groves! What makes Fournes so special? It's key location just 14 km away from Chania, but also right in front of the foothills of Lefka Ori (White Mountains). It's 5mins drive from the impressive Botanical Park & Gardens of Crete and a good starting point for your drive towards the famous Samaria Gorge!
We call our home "Hidden Gem", due to the way it is built, offering a great deal of privacy as well as the security of being a part of a nice neighborhood. The house is recently renovated and has an overall minimal style with splashes of vivid colors and handmade decorations made by three generations (me, my mother and my grandmother)!
The living room is spacious and creates the feeling of openness as it's connected with dinning area and the fully equipped kitchen.
In the area you'll find everything you need within walking distance (a small traditional taverna and coffee shop, two mini markets and a bakery).
I will be glad to help you discover my village as well as the city of Chania. In both cases I would love to tell you everything about what not to miss, where to eat, great beaches and all about the countless hikes you can do around the area!
