Positive: Our stay at Ionian Sun in Corfu was absolutely perfect. The villa is a tranquil haven, completely surrounded by nature and incredibly peaceful. Before we even arrived, our communication with Beatrice was great, and her son met us to show us around the villa, which was a lovely personal touch. We were immediately impressed by the welcoming hamper, and the thoughtful addition of water and beer in the fridge was a lovely touch. The villa itself is a dream. The kitchen is exceptionally well-equipped, and the BBQ area is fantastic for al fresco dining. We also discovered an amazing deli, called Michalas, just a 15-minute drive away that had a fantastic selection of steak, chicken, frozen fish, and a huge variety of dried meats and cheeses—we highly recommend it! The main highlight for us was the amazing, private pool area, which isn't overlooked at all and offers a gorgeous view over the bay. The villa is incredibly comfortable, with air conditioning throughout, and the beds are very comfortable. The automatic awnings that extend in the morning to shade the bedrooms were a great feature. Both bedrooms have their own en-suite bathroom, which was a huge plus. We also appreciated the well-stocked utility room, which included a washing machine and dryer. Despite feeling secluded, the villa is just a short walk down to the shops and the beach. We genuinely loved our time here and would return in a heartbeat.
