Rebuilt in the shell of an ancient olive press, the two-storey 150 m2 stone house is tucked in a shady olive grove on the East coast between the villages of Fontana and Loggos, 20 minutes walk up a footpath from Kipiadi beach. It sleeps 8 people: 6 in 3 double-bedrooms, each with a shower bathroom, and 2 more people on a mezzanine overlooking the living room. A 30 m2 terrace leads through sliding glass doors into the 35 m2 living room with open fire.
Designed for our family holidays, the house comfortably hosts couples, children and pets. It offers privacy as well as large common spaces. It has a small separate kitchen, fully equipped with dishwasher, electric oven and washing machine and there is reliable WiFi connection. On the ground floor there is a large living room, kitchen, 2 double bedrooms, each with a shower bathroom. Upstairs there is a large mezzanine with a desk and 2 sofa-beds, which leads to a 3rd double bedroom with a shower bathroom.
The House is accessible by car and only 400 m from Fontana, a charming village with a good taverna and grocery store, whereas the fishing village of Logos is 2 km downhill, about 20 minutes walk. People who enjoy walking can take footpaths through the woods down to Kipiadi beach (about 20 minutes), but do rent a car or scooters if you wish to move quickly around the Island as the public bus only runs a couple of times a day.
