Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The location of the house is excellent. Since we went to Samos during a very windy period in Kalami, we couldn’t fully enjoy it, but I’m sure it will be wonderful in season. Apart from a foot towel and a bathroom mop, nothing was missing in the house. Don’t think a foot towel isn’t important or “why would I need to mop the bathroom on holiday?” Because the bathroom ventilation is not sufficient. When you take a shower, the humidity cannot be expelled from the room. For this reason, the floor stays constantly wet and muddy. When you use the toilet, the smell spreads throughout the whole house. There are windows in the house, but since it’s on the ground floor, you can’t leave them open all the time for privacy reasons. While you’re inside or when the lights are on, people walking by can see and actualy look at directly inside. Just to give you an idea: my dry bikinis were damp from the humidity when I woke up in the morning… Other than that, the house was clean and had all the basic equipment you might need. Communication with the host was easy, and she was helpful. Despite everything, we left satisfied, but if we had stayed longer than three days, the discomfort caused by the ventilation would have been difficult to handle.

Negative: I wouldn’t recommend it for people with allergies, as the poor ventilation in the room made it very difficult for my roommate.

Summary: Since we stayed short, we enjoyed it.
