Positive: The house was very clean and well equipped. The kitchen has many tools and things to offer and is nicely spacious. The furniture is rather rustic with an old TV, but it is just as in the pictures and therefore should not surprise you, the furniture is in good condition. We were greeted late in the evening by Kiki‘s Mum who is such a lovely person. We found some wonderful treats in the house, including cake, fruit, marmalade, water, raki etc. even during our stay Kiki‘s mum brought us further homemade treats, which was super kind. She doesn’t speak English, but you can communicate via Google Translate. The communication with Kiki was easy and she replied quickly to any questions we had (in English) and provided us with information. The house from the inside is as described and shown on the pictures. We were slightly worried about the bathroom and shower beforehand, but they worked well for us and our children. We had a little difficulty finding the place, as google Maps sends you to the hotel in front of it, but Kiki‘s mum came to the find us. The location otherwise is very handy for exploring nearby beaches. It is in a little village so you will need to car to get around and there is not too much in the village itself. Lovely bakery a few minutes drive away and a mini market as well as a few tavernas (the best ones are close to Falssarna).

Negative: The smaller bedroom is next to a steep street next to the house where a pick up truck drives up and down regularly which can be a bit noisy. Thus, the bedroom feels a bit like being in a basement. Next to the house is a hotel / apartment complex and a small passage next to the terrace which felt a bit tight. There was a strong smell of oil on the terrace brought by the wind regularly and the wooden door on the terrace smelled very smokey. We asked Kiki about the smell and apparently it comes from a storage of heating oil. Not a pleasant smell to have on and our your terrace.
