It is primely located in the prestigious Hilton area, only 3-minutes walking distance from Megaro Mousikis metro (blue line) and within close proximity (10-15 mins) to all major attractions (Acropolis, Syntagma, Plaka etc). The flat is on the 4th floor (with elevator) of a well-maintained building and it consists of one bedroom, a living room with kitchen & dining area, and a bathroom.

Therefore, it is an ideal base to explore the city, although it can also be used with confidence by the business traveller or for any other forms of tourism or travel (short-term or long-term accommodation).

-The neighbourhood-
The apartment is located at a safe, well maintained, and quiet street within the prestigious Hilton area. It is only 3-minutes walking distance from Megaro Mousikis (Concert Hall) metro station and, subsequently, the charming Vasilissis Sofias avenue, which connects the Concert Hall to Syntagma Square and the Greek Parliament (about 20 minutes walking distance or 5 minutes by using the metro - blue line). The area hosts the embassies of Australia, Finland & Norway and is very popular with both locals and tourists since it is quite central and affluent, with excellent transport links, and with a large variety of leisure options or services.
Athens' major archaeological/historical sites (Acropolis, Ancient Agora etc.), museums (National Gallery, Goulandri, Benaki, Cycladic Art, Military, Byzantine museum), most famous restaurants, bars, cafes and other places of interest (Plaka, Monastiraki, Commercial services, Shopping, Hospitals, Universities etc) are, literally, at your doorstep - i.e 5 to 15 minutes’ walk or by public transport, depending on your point of interest.
Last, a rather large variety of supermarkets, bakeries, banks, ATMs, convenience stores, pharmacies, patisseries, cafes, restaurants and 24/7 shops, are 50 to 150 meters away from the flat’s location.
-Getting around-
The apartment is extremely well connected in terms of commute/transport options as it is only 200 meters away from "Megaro Mousikis" metro/tube station, which connects directly the Athens International Airport with the Port of Piraeus. In addition, due to its proximity to Vasilissis Sofias avenue, there are also plenty of bus stops which could take you directly anywhere in the city.
If taxis are your preferred means of transport, you can easily find one on Vasilissis Sofias avenue throughout the day (24/7 service). Last, private parking garages can be found nearby at an extra cost, while on-street parking is either controlled (between Michalakopoulou street and Vassilisis Sofias avenue) or free (southeast of Michalakopoulou street).
