Atop a 1.1 hectare hill and overlooking the 17km beachfront of Rethymno, “The Infinite” is a recently renovated mansion only moments from the heart of Rethymno.
The Infinite consists of 2 autonomous villas, each measuring 250m2, and situated on the raised ground floor and first floor respectively of a composing neoclassical building.
Our guests can enjoy the comfort of 8 bedrooms , 6 bathrooms, 3 fully equipped kitchens (2 in the interior of the house and 1 in the barbecue area ) and 2 spacious living rooms, perfect for a family and/or group of families/friends wanting the privacy of their own space whilst also sharing memorable moments in the retreat's outdoor area: the best of both worlds! *
Outside, the dramatic 100m2 infinity pool stretches across 1000m2 of land and boasts panoramic sea views as the pool’s vanishing edges merge the water with sea and sky. The outdoor lounge and kitchen areas go even further to highlight the resort's scenic surroundings.
Many of the details within “The Infinite” bear the creative signature of the owners; from the wooden sofas and tables in the outdoor and indoor spaces to the wooden shelf in the entrance of top villa, crafted with the utmost care to provide a serene environment. No “stone” has literally been left unturned, with the owners breathing life into a humble olive stone on the far side of the pool and an old winepress, now doubling as an outdoor pool shower. All in the name of blending in with the retreat’s natural surroundings. The house interior also draws inspiration from clean, minimalist spaces, designed predominantly in earthy tones with few colourful contrasting accents. The recently renovated first floor villa features reclaimed furnishings in materials of wood and brushed and oiled ash.

The retreat’s layout is such that you are forever drawn to the outside space:
Pool – A sparkling 100m2 infinity pool dotted with comfy cushion lined sunbeds, sun loungers, white parasols and a gazebo for an extra touch of glamour.
Yoga and pilates - For the yoga and pilates fanatics, sessions are organised typically at dawn and sunset, allowing you to take in the breathtaking views and reconnect with nature.
Spa - There’s no spa as such, but the Infinite can arrange a variety of stress-relieving massages, brightening facials and beauty treatments in your room or by the pool.
Lounge area - The perfect get away for your morning coffee or your much needed evening cocktail drink! You’ll be surprised to know that the top does come off (fairly) easily for a hard to come by city experience, that of gazing at the stars.
Outside Kitchen - Nestled beside an 100 year old fig tree, this is probably the dream kitchen, whether you are a cooking aficionado or not! Fully functional (it comes with all basic appliances coffee machine, toaster, fridge etc etc ) and spacious, spread over 100m2 it features a traditional wood fired oven, a barbeque grill, gas stoves and an impressive concrete sink unit. This kitchen is truly the heart of the home, where all your meals ought to be created, fuelling the bodies, minds and souls of your family and friends. Tailored culinary experiences can be organised upon request as well as private Chef services.
