For 24 years, the priest taught traditional religion here, guiding students in the sacred art of stone carving — a deeply spiritual practice used to express and understand the teachings of Balinese religion. Day and night, for nearly a quarter of a century, the sound of chisels echoed through the halls as students shaped devotion into stone.
When the current owner took custodianship of the property, they sought to preserve its soul while unveiling its beauty.
