It's within walking distance of Lygia's beaches, a mere 5-minute drive from one of the most authentic and charming villages on the island, and just a 10-minute drive from the lively Lefkada Town, renowned for its excellent shops, restaurants, and nightlife. With so much within reach and convenient taxis available, it's entirely feasible to enjoy a stay without a car, although we recommend one for those eager to venture out and explore this beautiful island.
Ariadne stands as the largest among the Toretta Villas, the middle property of three constructed in 2023 to provide luminous and breezy open-plan living. It boasts a state-of-the-art kitchen, a stylish dining area, and a supremely comfortable lounge that seamlessly extends onto the terrace.
The three en-suite bedrooms, situated on the ground and upper floors, are tastefully decorated, and the flexible layout is well-suited for a family holiday with school-aged children and teenagers seeking a bit of independence. The lower ground floor, accessed through a separate entrance, features a TV room complete with a home cinema system and Playstation. Additionally, there's a sauna, a shower room, and a fourth bedroom that can be configured as a double or twin, as preferred.
Outside, the enclosed garden is among the most delightful we've encountered, featuring an immaculate lawn perfect for active little ones or a serene spot for reclining on a lounger with a good book. The pool is particularly appealing and generously sized, as is the barbecue area and outdoor kitchen, providing a natural focal point for dining under the stars.
Lygia sets the scene: a laid-back haven of a resort where some of the island's best tavernas are within easy walking distance. Two pebble beaches grace the area, and if the desire to explore the waters arises, it's simple to rent a boat and set off along the coast or navigate towards Skorpios and Meganissi for the day. This spacious and striking villa is ideally situated for a memorable holiday in the Ionian.
