Summary: We had a fabulous 2 weeks in Rhodes. We used a taxi company recommended by Anthe for the hour trip to the villa where we were met by the smiling George ! The villa was great with the outside area just fantastic, probably the best we have had on our trips to the Greek islands. Just as it appeared on line. Always a nice breeze round the pool in the afternoon. Most days we spent the morning at Plakia Beech which was a couple of minutes drive away. Sandy, clear waters and a great beach bar for lunch. Anthe provides numerous recommendations on places to go and eat and we get breakfast each morning from the bakery in Lardos. Lunch normally at the beach and plenty of great places to eat, our faves being Valentinos and Patriko in Lardos. There was a great cocktail bar over the road at St James hotel overlooking the beach We took trips to Rhodes old town which was beautiful, Lindos on a couple of occasions to eat on the rooftops in the evening which was fab. Tambiko in St Paul’s bay was special, cool vibe with great views In our second week we took a boat out with Yara Yachting which was amazing. Ask for Diego if you go Anthe was always on hand to answer any questions and her family home is a wonderful place to stay for a summer holiday.
