The villa consists of two bedrooms with double beds located on the Ist floor, one bathroom at the first floor and one at the ground floor and offers comfortable accommodation for 6 people. On the ground floor you can also find an dining room, a seating area with fareplace and a fully equipped kitchen with utensils and devices such as oven,microwave oven refrigerator, dishwasher, espresso mashine etc.
The bedrooms and the ground floor are air-conditioned, and each bathroom has wc and shower. Also, heater for unlimited hot water, WiFi internet,satellite TV,sound system, hair dryer, ironing board, washing machine are provided.
It is only 500 meters away from the sandy and well-organized Pelekanos Beach(part of Kavros beach which is one of the best sandy beaches of north Crete with 10 km length) The beach has sun beds and umbrellas and you can find an outside bar and a taverna that offers you traditional food, but if you prefer your privacy is sure that even in the high summer season, you can easily find a secluded spot on your own . Just 11 km away from the town of Rethymno and 35 km from the town of Chania, the location of our villa is ideal in order to explore the beauties of Crete.At Kavros area at 2.5 km you can find supermarkets, butcher shop with fresh local meat, pattiserrie as well as a gas station. At the traditional village of Episkopi at 2 km you can find all kinds of shop as well.The Georgoupolis area at 5 km is a tourism town where you can find many restaurants, tavernas, cafes, bars and shopping.The town square is surrounded by outdoor seating used by tourists enjoying their drinks and ice creams. At Georgioupolis you can enjoy many leisure activities such us, fun park, children's play area with mini-golf, motor park, horse riding, cycling, adventure bike and express trips with tourist trains. At the station in Kavros and Georgioupolis you can make several trips with trains to Kournas Lake, into the mountains to visi the Cretan Villages, to the old city of Lappa and the waterfall springs of Argiroupoli.
The Kournas Lake is the only freshwater lake in on the Island of Crete. The waters are especially calm and visitors enjoy the peaceful setting.The many tavernas provide the perfect place to enjoy and drink or meal looking out over the lake. In the summer the lake shrinks slightly creating a temporary beach where visitors can sit on the sun loungers and relax in the sun or may rent a pedalo and spend time floating around the lake.
