Positive: We loved our stay! The accommodation is beautiful, functional and clean. There's AC, beds are comfortable, kitchen has everything you might need if you don't want to spend a fortune on restaurants every day. We enjoyed two terraces and a nice view towards the mountain. Location is also great, there's a nearby free parking which you can use if you're renting a car. There's a bus stop (also very close) to take the bus to Fira, it's very convenient. There are car rental and ATV rental places nearby, a 24/7 bakery with lovely ice cream and baked goods, a mini market, lots of bars, and restaurants. The beach is super close too - just 5 minutes away by foot. You can go for a hike to a lovely small church nested on the mountain and also hike to Ancient Thira (closer by foot than by car; by car you'll need go around the island and to access it from the other side of the mountain). Hosts were extremely helpful and nice - they did everything they could to let us in very early in the morning since we had a night flight. They greeted us with some baked croissants as a compliment. They made sure to buy us drinking water since we didn't have any, and we were very tired from the trip (so lovely) and made recommendations on where to eat and where to go shopping for food and drinks. They also offered to drive us to the airport on our way back if we didn't have transportation. 10/10 would definitely recommend, and especially if you'd love to help out a local family! 🥰

Negative: Tap water is not drinkable (salty), but that's everywhere you go on this island, and it's not up to the hosts. Just make sure you don't drink it or use it for coffee/tea, etc.
